What does the furigana level setting do?
It controls which kanji receive furigana readings. Higher levels show furigana only on more advanced kanji, while lower levels show it more broadly.
What is 新字旧仮名 (script style)?
Some classic texts use historical kana orthography. The script style label tells you which orthographic convention the source text follows.
